a bit expensive but delicious. loved the chicken momo and the pork ribs (appetizers). the pork chow mein was good too — a lot of food, but the apps stole the show. atmosphere was nice and servers were great.

I guess I’m in the minority here but I wasn’t the biggest fan. Place was very busy but even with that food took an extremely long time to get. Multiple times we were told they didn’t have a menu item almost 30+ minutes after ordering. It was 2 hour+ dinner after the waiting for a table and waiting for our food. The food itself was alright. Momos were great, best thing I had. Expensive though as it’s $10 for just 4. Butter chicken was very tomato heavy and sweet, and naan was good but not the best. That dish was $25 and I’ve had better for under $20 at many other places in SF. Overall I would maybe go back again to try different things. But for the price, I don’t see the value.

I went on a Monday night and the food was AMAZING. I got the chicken momo, chicken chow mein and the shrimp cashew curry. Everything from the service to the food was phenomenal. Alisha, my server, was so attentive and sweet!

Pretext: Party of 2 on a weekday evening. The watermelon feta salad was light but surprisingly refreshing, and it paired well with the heavier spiced dishes like the curries. The pork momo was well-seasoned with the dough not being too thick and decent meat-dough ratio. The chili powder-esque side Base Camp provides with the dish gives it a nice kick and accentuates the spices. The cashew curry was sweeter, less spiced, and lighter compared to the goat curry. However, both curries were excellent, and my party was satisfied with pairing them with the garlic naan (not too bready, had a nice crisp edge). We were comfortably full given the portion sizes, but be prepared to pay $30-$50 per person (at time of writing). Service was pleasant as Base Camp as the waiters were friendly. The decor was modern with a chill atmosphere. Bill includes a 3% credit card charge at the time of writing this review.

Tofu shapta was crazy good. Almost like paneer chilli in Indo Chinese but better. The chowmein was great too, with a little bite to it. Momos were nice, had more filling than I'd prefer but a good appetizer for 1-2 pieces
