Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol). Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries. The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan). While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).
Lunch with good friend. He is vegetarian. Excellent selection of northern Indian cuisine. Highly recommend salmon dish. Grilled to perfection. Patio dining available to bring your furry friend. Enjoy 😉
Had a cozy and flavorful experience at Everest Cuisine in Mountain View. If you’re in the mood for comforting Nepali and Indian food that feels like a warm hug, this place is a must-visit. We tried their: • Momo – juicy, well-spiced, and served piping hot • Thukpa – a hearty noodle soup that hits just right • Paneer Tikka Masala – creamy, rich, and full of flavor • Garlic Naan – soft with the perfect crisp, great with the curries • Masala Chai – aromatic and soothing, a great way to end the meal The staff was kind and attentive, and the ambiance was relaxed — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. If you love bold spices, homestyle food, and warm hospitality, definitely check out Everest Cuisine. Located right in the heart of Mountain View — absolutely worth the visit.
The food was good, and the tandoori momos is an extra deep fried crispy ( a little harder side), tasted ok, and comes with a little bit of noodles. Vegetable fried rice was also ok, do not expect indian masala fried rice taste. Papad eas complementary, there was an offer posted in the table, a 20% discount between 3 to 6pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Will come back again to try more vegetarian food from their huge menu.
