Happy Himalayan Mo:Mo

I’ve tried momos all over the city, but this place is the Steph Curry of dumpling game: all-star, unmatched, and absolutely clutch. The sauce? Legit. Don’t sleep on it -Night Night I came back from Kathmandu six months ago with a high momo bar... and this spot crushed it. We're talking texture that makes you want to write poetry, proportions that feel engineered by NASA, and flavor so authentic you'd swear it came with a Nepali passport. The owners? Straight outta Kathmandu, and you can taste their roots in every bite. Plus, they're incredibly sweet—like, the kind of people who’d rescue your dumpling if it fell on the floor. You won’t be disappointed unless you order too few.

The MoMo at the Alemany Farmer’s market is delicious!!! One of my friends who is super picky about food even saved this place as a FAVORITE. The family who owns this place are really nice too. An amazing gem all around! Per their Instagram page, “We are a family from the Himalayas.” Find them “Every Saturday @alemanyfarmersmarket and every Sunday @sunsetmercantile” I am not familiar with Sunset Mercantile, but Alemany is a legit farmers market with quality fruits and veggies and actual good prices - if you haven’t been, check it out and finish your trip with MoMo! (Or order the Momo midway through your trip; it takes about 10 minutes to prepare because it’s so WARM AND FRESH!)

This is a delightful food vendor at the farmers market. I tried the chilli momo’s which were super fun and interesting, very tasty. Nice for a snack!
