Wow, just wow! As a Miami Florida native, I wasn't expecting to find a gem like Himalaya Restaurant in Ventura, California. But boy, was I blown away! The moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the flavors were a perfect blend of Asian and Indian cuisine. As someone who normally sticks to traditional Asian and Indian restaurants, I was hesitant to try something new, but Himalaya exceeded my expectations. The dishes I tried were not only delicious but also expertly crafted, with a great balance of spices and textures. I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem, and I'll definitely be back for more in the future when I come back to California. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spice up their dining experience!

We hired Himalaya Cuisine for our most recent Indian wedding and wow, the food was absolutely incredible! The flavors were rich, authentic, and a perfect blend of spice and comfort. From traditional curries and naan to vegetarian options that even our non-Indian friends raved about! Everything was prepared and served with care, and there was plenty for seconds (and thirds)! The staff that set up were friendly and professional, attentive to our guests’ needs, and made the catering flow smoothly throughout the reception. The menu felt thoughtfully curated and inclusive of different tastes and dietary preferences. If you want a caterer who delivers on authenticity, taste, and excellence, we wholeheartedly recommend Himalaya Cuisine. They helped make our celebration not just delicious, but truly memorable :)

My girlfriend and I spontaneously visited this restaurant tonight and were completely blown away by the exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, attentive, kind, and welcoming. As first-time guests, we were delighted with a complimentary lentil soup, 10/10, which warmed us perfectly on a chilly evening. We started with handmade samosas, the most authentic and delicious we’ve ever had, truly perfect. For our main course, we enjoyed butter chicken and paneer with garlic naan. The portions were generously large, and both dishes were phenomenal, with no flaws to note. For dessert, the rice pudding was simply divine. The atmosphere was relaxing, enhanced by a charming ticker board displaying cute quotes. We regret not taking photos but will definitely return to capture the experience next time. The staff provided convenient take-home boxes, and we’re excited to enjoy the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. This place is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

My favorite take-out place in all of Ventura. Always consistent, always delicious. I always see it busy inside but have never sat down. I am sure the wait service is as phenomenal as the food, the staff and owners are very welcoming and friendly. I have been consistently satisfied by Himalaya for 2+ years now! Particularly fond of the samosas and chicken tikka masala

We just had this catered at a wedding for a family member. We were really impressed. Only second time I’ve had Indian food, I was happy to hear the restaurant is located in Ventura. I would be happy to say the food is very good and would highly recommend to it anyone. It was delicious and full of wonderful flavors.
