Had the butter chicken and garlic naan. Garlic naan 5/5 - pretty close to perfect. Great texture with crispy edges and soft inside. Well dressed with garlic and ghee. Butter chicken 4/5 - not the best I've had or even close because as it was lacking depth of flavor. Everything else about it was actually excellent, however. Had the perfect thickness, creaminess, and consistency. I asked for spicy and they made it properly hot, which meshed nicely with the lightly sweet top notes. It came out piping hot and fresh. And the chicken inside was plentiful and shockingly and delightfully tender. Though, the chicken didn't seem to carry much if any char flavor or marinade, the meat by itself tasted way better than average despite this, like very high quality chicken. I feel like it nailed everything except the depth of flavor, but it was still pleasant and enjoyable. While I wasn't in love with it, they clearly put effort into it and I wouldn't hesitate to come back to try the rest of their menu.
Breakfast buffet was great. Dosas were hot and crispy, chutneys were excellent. Uttapam was pretty good too. Idli, vada were fine but felt a little lackluster in comparison. Sambar was good overall but a noticeably salty. For the price, hard to beat for a brunch option.
We have started going to this restaurant and our first two times were pretty good but third time was not the charm. We ordered steamed momos and it got to us within 15-20 minutes, but it was colder than the last time we ordered it. I asked the staff why it was cold, and he told me it was steamed for 15-20 minutes so it should be fine. But I still asked them to reheat it. One thing that I noticed was a weird raw smell coming out of the momos, so I decided to cut them open and see what's inside. To my surprise I found raw chicken( pieces were pink in color) in the momos. I asked the staff again, and the response was "we never got a complain on the momos", and I literally showed him 6-7 pink colored chicken pieces. He was still adamant and not did not believe me. Attached photos of the pink chicken from inside the momo. Dishes like momos where you can't see what's inside, you are basically at the mercy of the restaurant to serve hygenic and cooked food, and unfortunately for me, we weren't served cooked food.
Food tastes very delicious and lots of varietie recipes, very reasonable price, Staff are very kind and respectful I strongly recommend this place you can visit with family, kids will really like this food
Shahi Gost Biryani, this is the one you should order period! I’m from Hyderabad and my biryani taste standards are pretty high, I have eastern biryani at every place in Bay Area and this one stood out for me because of many reasons. Firstly it’s white biryani, a kind of biryani where you get to taste flavour of meat and raw spices infused in rice, it’s very juicy and meat pieces were soft and flavourful. And the quantity was great, wow, I’m heavy eater but yet I couldn’t complete it. 2 people can easily eat this biryani. Please keep same consistency in taste, because I’m gonna be ordering this biryani again and again for sure. Thanks I also ordered chicken momos, they were fresh and steamy, 5/5 for sure.
