Great place for Indian and Nepalese food, with a lot of options. I tried Paneer Tikka Masala with Brown Rice, and thought it was pretty good (although it could have been a little more spicy). Great service as well. If you don't find parking in Solano Street or simply don't want to pay, you can find some free street parking around 7-10 mins walk from the restaurant (for example, Marin Ave near the fountain).
I was in Nepal, and this place is a pleasant reminder of the incredible master under the roof of the Himalayas. Delicious, authentic, I recommend it to everyone! Dhanyabaad!
Tried and true favorite in the area! The curries are flavorful and thick, portions are super generous, and you just can't beat their special lunch menu for value. I do not usually like lentil soup, but the one they make here is magic. SO MUCH FLAVOR. Physically I am at home, mentally I am here on a cold fall day sipping a hot bowl of that soup. Staff is super friendly and fantastic too.
My husband and I love this spot and regularly enjoy the lunch specials here. I recently ordered the pumpkin chicken curry and he ordered the chicken saag. Both were so good that we didn’t share! Lunch specials come with white or brown rice, lentil soup (yum), and very fluffy naan. Pair with a hot chai and it’s an excellent meal.
The best Nepalese and Indian restaurant we've ever been to. The flavours of the dishes are on point. Very tasty and the dishes has their own character, you would know which one is the butter chicken, tikka masala even when blind folded. Some restaurants has the flavours of the dishes so close that you cant distinguish them. The prices are not cheap and servings are not big but its worth it and its satisfying.
