Best Indian food I've had in OC. The service was absolutely great! Our server was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. The young man answered all our questions. It was our first time there and we can't wait to go back to try the entire menu. The food was DELICIOUS. So much flavor!! The venue was clean and really well decorated. They have beer on tap which is a huge plus! I am a huge carnivore but for those who are not they have plenty vegan options.

I think this is my new favorite Indian restaurant! In many Indian restaurants many courses seem to have a similar flavor profile. At Masala Waves, each dish had unique flavors that were each wonderful. Even the veggie biryani was filled with a great mix of spices that included star anise (I think). The staff was also great - with a warm greeting at the door, attentive service, prompt delivery of our bill - and every staff member we were in contact with seemed to have a great attitude. It was truly a wonderful experience and I look forward to many more meals here.

The food was so good . The chicken korma lunch special with the chickpeas and mango chutni was amazing. We had chicken momo and spinach cheese naan dip which was delicious too. Will be back for more

This post is long overdue. We ordered the chicken momo, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. I have to say, this is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had—seriously worthy of a Michelin star. The chicken momo had soft wrappers with tender, juicy meat inside. The sauce that comes with it is a tangy, tomato-based dip that complements the dumplings perfectly. The tandoori chicken is on another level. It was incredibly tender, packed with spices, and had a wonderful charred smokiness. When the marinade dripped onto the vegetables on the hot plate, it infused them with oil and spices, making every bite bursting with flavor. The chicken tikka masala struck the perfect balance of tomato and cream, and paired beautifully with the warm, garlicky naan. This place doesn’t miss.

One of the most authentic Indian restaurants in the area!! They have tons of options, especially vegetarian. Super filling, flavorful and made with care. I highly recommend the samosa chat! Think loaded nachos but with samosas. It's divine.
