The food, the people, the atmosphere, all of it is amazing. There are quite a few Himalayan restaurants in El Cerrito, but the Momolicious momos are the best. We had them steamed, fried, and fiery, and they were all amazing. The chatamari (or "Nepalese pizza") and curry were amazing as well. We ate inside a covered dining area that was nice and warm from the heat lamp, despite it being 52ºF outside. The guys in the truck were super friendly. You can't go wrong eating here. Everything was full of flavor and delicious.

Momolicious is a nice spot to enjoy Nepali food with a pleasant atmosphere and good flavors. However, I’m giving 3 stars because the portion sizes were quite small—only 8 pieces of Mo:Mo, and the jhol (sauce) was very limited. The same goes for the Bhutan (khasi); tasty, but not enough quantity. Hope they improve on serving sizes!

Located in a new food truck plaza. The momos here are savory, with perfectly crisped bottoms, and generously filled. They make and serve the pani puri fresh right in front of you. Must order the chow mein especially with the sauces it comes with!

Must-Try Newari Food in El Cerrito! My wife and I recently tried Momolicious, a Newari food truck in El Cerrito, and we were blown away! We started with the Nepali-style Chicken Jhol Momo hands down one of the best we’ve had in the Bay Area. The Momo was flavorful, and wsd perfectly steamed. We also tried their spicy Chatpatte.super fresh and packed with flavor and the Pani Puri with mint and tamarind water, which hit all the right spots. One of the highlights was the Newari Chatamari and Chicken Choyila set that took us straight back to Nepal. We saw they had Khasi ko Bhutan on the menu too, and it looked amazing! Definitely trying that next time.

One of the best spots for authentic Nepali foods, this place offers a delightful variety of traditional dishes that truly capture the rich flavors of Nepal. From the hearty bara to flavorful momos, every bite reflects quality, freshness, and cultural pride. Highly recommended for anyone craving a genuine taste of Nepal!”
