You can tell everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. The portions are generous too — definitely worth every bite! Vibe: Cozy, clean, and welcoming. perfect for both a casual dinner or a relaxed date night. The decor is simple yet charming, with a peaceful ambiance. We arrived for late lunch and was t busy at all. Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Our server took the time to explain the dishes and made great recommendations. Food came out quickly, and they checked in just the right amount. Visited this place for a group dinner (8 people), and everything was perfect! The food arrived on time, and the flavors were spot on. We ordered jhol momo, buttan, choila, and khasi ko sekuwa khaja set. Every dish was delicious. The atmosphere felt just like a typical Nepali restaurant with Nepali music and prayer flags. Would come back here again for the food and service.

We tried vegetable momos both steamed and soupy alongside veg chowmein noodles. To be honest we have not tasted such amazing veg momos in last few years. The service and ambience complemented the food appropriately. To sum it up the food was soulful and very well prepared. Shree was our server and she was very cordial and provided excellent suggestions. Highly recommend visiting The Gurkha Kitchen to taste authentic nepalese cuisine.

Absolutely loved our lunch at The Gurkha Kitchen in Sunnyvale! The jhol momos were perfectly spiced and comforting, the steamed momos with achar were fresh and flavorful, and the Nepali thali set brought back true taste of home—everything was authentic and delicious. The ambiance is inviting and the hospitality even warmer. Big shoutout to the owners—proud to support friends who are doing such an amazing job representing Nepali cuisine!
