We recently dined at The Yellow Chilli by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and wanted to share our feedback. The food was generally good, though we didn't find it exceptional. For an appetizer, we thoroughly enjoyed the Chandi Kaliyan (grilled boneless chicken). The chicken was perfectly marinated and beautifully spiced, and the presentation of the platter was genuinely artful. Our only minor suggestion is that a few grilled onions would have perfectly complemented the dish. For the main course, we tried the Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh, a North Indian style chicken curry, which we enjoyed along with the fresh plain naan. The service was efficient and courteous, but we felt it could have benefited from a little more warmth to enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, as regular diners who enjoy exploring various restaurants, we found the experience to be Overpriced and Underwhelming compared to our expectations. We would certainly consider trying other dishes on your menu in the future, but we'd think carefully before making a return visit.

I had high expectations from The Yellow Chilli by Sanjeev Kapoor given the brand name, but the overall experience was mixed. The food was good in parts, but not as exceptional as I would have expected from a restaurant carrying Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s name. Service was courteous and friendly, though the wait for food felt longer than it should have been. The ambiance was disappointing — quite noisy, which took away from the dining experience. The biggest letdown, however, was the Kulfi. It was completely crystallized, which is something I’d never expect at a restaurant of this level. A proper Kulfi should be creamy, and this was far from it. On top of that, it’s a bit pricey and doesn’t deliver value for money. Overall, an average experience. Good service and decent food, but the execution, quality, and pricing need to improve to match the reputation behind the name.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food, ambience, and service were all top-notch. Viran took great care of our orders and offered some excellent recommendations. The dishes were mild in spice, likely tailored to suit a global palate.

Lal Maas (Rajasthani goat curry) was the best here. The kulfi with rabri dessert was ok but the Lawrence road tandoori chicken was not good (uncooked, not well done, masala paste came off in hands). We returned the chicken but it still came to us again like before even though we requested well done multiple times.

Delicious Indian food and spice level is consistent to your ask. Have been there 4 times now and food is always great. Ambience is good too for business or casual lunch or dinner. Viran is a great guy. Very warm Punjabi and listens to customers. I highly recommend this place!
